Twelve tables, one long terrace, and a wall the sun has been warming since 1974. Linen, hand-thrown ceramics, wood worn smooth. Nothing here asks for attention; everything holds it.

The menu changes when the market changes. In June the tomatoes decide; by October it is the artichokes. Everything arrives within a day of the coast, and most of it within an hour.

Golden hour on the terrace · wine poured slowly · nobody looking at the time

Elena grew up in the kitchen above this dining room. She cooks the way her grandmother did, with fewer ingredients and a lighter hand, and she still buys the fish herself.
“Tradition is not a recipe. It is knowing when to stop.”
Elena Vitali · Chef & Proprietor
Two hundred labels, most of them from within three hours of here. Ask for the list, or tell us what you are eating and let Marco decide.

Five things, in order. The land gives, the sea answers, the people carry it up the hill, and the table does the rest.
